Folks, want to feel old? Today (May 19th) marks the 10th anniversary of the release of The Phantom Menace in theatres accross the United States. Fans waited for 16 years to see a new SW movie in the theatres. For some, it would be the first time they saw a SW film projected unto the silver screen.

Folks, let’s celebrate this anniversary tonight with a little role playing. I am inclined to believe that most fans of gaming are also fans of SW, so in honor of these movies take out your dice and play. Whether you play d6 or d20, who cares? Play Star Wars tonight.
Play SW tonight, and for the love of all that is holy, kill as many Gungans as you can. Slaughter them. Torture them Jack Bauer style. SW GM’s everwhere, make a one shot where a Gungan is the bad guy, and make him despicable. So much so that the only solution is to destroy him. In fact, house-rule criticals on any roll 11-20.
That’ll teach those guys to ruin a movie.
