My ADD sometimes gets the best of me, and this is one of those times… You’d think a guy with a role-playing game for sale would want to do anything possible to promote it at the largest gaming convention… Geez.
Anyway, I’d like to see if there’s interest in me running rpgKids at Gencon. If there is, I’ll set some time aside for it. It shouldn’t take more than an hour, I’ll run the adventure included in the game, so if you have it and have played it then this may not be for you.
rpgKids is meant for kids from the ages of about 4-8… if you want in, let me know in the comments below. First 4 comments have dibs.
We can do it on Thursday at 6pm at a locale still TBD. All you need to bring is a pencil, a d6, and a d12.
Let me know, and by the way… the game is only $2.24 right now at rpgnow! They are having their Christmas in July sale!

I’d definitely be interested! I have 3-year-old that I’m very keen to introduce to gaming ASAP.

Dibs #2 here! We have a 6 yr old that needs some daddy-daughter bonding time and this would fit the bill wonderfully.

Actually, now that I think about it a bit, I’m actually not going to have my daughter with me in Indy. I was hoping to try out rpgKids with a view to introducing her to it a little later this year. I don’t want to take up a slot that would be better reserved for a parent/child together. If, however, you don’t have enough kids, I’ll gladly jump in.

I think we’re on the list, but I’ll post here as well. My son really wants to play an RPG.

6 p.m. seems a little late to try and get a young child to play a role-playing game, especially if they’re over-stimulated and tired from a long day at Gen Con. Will they still have the attention span and interest at that hour? Wouldn’t an earlier session work better?
Just trying to help!

Totally unrelated, but why is there a smiley face on the bottom-left corner of your website?

I don’t live in the us, but I would love to do that with my son.
PS maybe it would be a good chance to launch the adventure pack (hint hint)!
