An rpgKids update

Posted on February 14, 2011 by

It’s been 5 months to the day since I released rpgKids v1.5 and I just want to thank everyone who purchased it, and took the time to comment on it, send me a note, or review it on their site.  As of today it’s still one of the top 50 selling items on, it also became a popular silver pick on their ranking system, and this speaks to the need for products such as this one.  So I’ll say this loudly so that the “professional” rpg industry can hear me:  PARENTS REALLY, REALLY WANT TO GAME WITH THEIR KIDS!!!

One of the main questions I get asked is “when are we getting more adventures?”, so I am here to answer that today, (and give myself a hard deadline while I’m at it).  I will be releasing an adventure pack in March, with 4 all new scenarios for rpgKids play.  The date, and it is fitting since I created this game for my daughter, will be March 22nd the day of her birthday.  There will be pirates, wizards, dinosaurs, and unicorns and fairies.  What kid doesn’t like that stuff?  The adventure pack will include all new tokens and maps too, so it’ll have everything you need to play.

Keep checking for more information, and I hope you take a look at it once it’s released!

ps… like the new rpgKids logo?  It was designed by my friend @theweem, a great guy and D&D blogger/community member.  Find his stuff at
