Went down to my FLGS yesterday to see what new releases they had in, and I was pleasantly surprised. Being a TV guy when I’m not busy being the NewbieDM, these games caught my eye, and I had to pick them up.
The first game is based on a favorite show of mine from the late 70’s – mid 80’s:
Everyone knows the story of Arnold Jackson. He and his brother Willis were adopted by rich Mr. Drummond after their mother died, and lived a life of luxury on Park Avenue. The familiar d20 mechanics are simple, and the different classes are great. You can be Rich Middle Aged White Guy, Cute Little Black Kid, Spontaneous Dancin’ Bro, or Spoiled White Rich Girl. It includes an introductory adventure called “Inappropriate Hot Tubbing with, eh… dad”, based on the show’s pilot.
Go get this game now.
I also picked up this gem:
If you’ve ever wanted to play in the worlds of Bonanza, Little House on the Prairie, or Highway to Heaven, then this is the game for you.
I’m not too crazy about the genre, but I know the game is making a huge splash on the convention scene:
It seems people love being an Ingall in the late 19th century, or an angel finding passage to heaven in the 80’s. The combat mechanics are a bit wonky, as all that’s available for weapons are fists and sticks, but the game is decent enough.
So there you go. Two great games you shouldn’t miss out on. Available now at your FLGS!
Happy April Fools’!

Oh, you guys think it’s a joke?
Shit, wait till you see the “Facts of Life Game” Wizard’s is releasing. Controversial because they nerfed Mrs. Garrett in her new 2.5 ed. stats.
