If you are planning on picking up Dungeon Delve, and using Dungeon Tiles with it, be warned, the book uses the “Halls of the Giant Kings” set in 7 of the 30 delves. That set is currently out of print, and based on the prices it is fetching on Ebay it looks like it is going to be an expensive set to pick up.
The book also uses the “Dire Tombs” set, “Fane of the Forgotten Gods”, “Streets of Shadow” and the newly released “Caves of Carnage”.
Shame on you Wizards for releasing a book with an out-of-print Dungeon Tile set “needed” to use it. Bad form.

Yeppers. The multiple packs (2 sets in some cases) usage of some of these tile sets is a bummer too…especially on the out-of-print variety. Jeesh!
Good luck to all in finding some (for a normal price) if you are out searching. They look to make the Delves a very cool experience, but the search for tiles (if you don’t already have them) will certainly be a task in some cases.
Of course we don’t *have* to use the tiles. A Chessex Battle-Mat (or your preferred tabletop layout) will work just fine, but the fact that the tiles *can* be used to set the exact scene in the delve makes them very enticing.

See also The Scepter Tower of Spellguard module which recommends using the handy Dungeon Tiles (the first set released back in Sept. 2006, according to Amazon.com…they go for about $65 now. Why they don’t keep these in print blows my mind. One-inch squares never go out of style.

That’s one way to look at it, I guess. Otoh, if you’ve been collecting Tiles since they were out, you are being rewarded for your patronage.

@Thas- not sure if that should be the point… it isn’t beneficial to them to release a partially unusuable product…

A few minutes of searching, and I was able to find “Halls of the Giant Kings” for sale online for $7.99 each and ordered two. Do a ltitle legwork. Amazon and eBay aren’t your only options. Don’t criticize them for using a product they created in this book when the book was being written long before the set went out of print.

Sorry.
They can plan way ahead of time to make sure that thingsa are available for when they need them.
They can’t be that disconnected from their own products to know when or not things are in print.
That’s BS.

Hmmm.. you can just download it and then paste in card board.. thats what I do, since the country I am in doesn’t have a steady supple of DND implements.
