Playing D&D while on the road for work…

I do some business traveling for my job, usually for a couple of days at a time. I also find some down time while I am traveling. It occured to me that it would be cool if there was a meeting place, online obvioulsy, for business traveler that enjoy playing D&D to meet up online and if they happen to be in the same city, play a few hours during their downtime. “NewbieDM’s Inn of the Traveling Gamer”. It would be a forum divided by cities, where you’d post an ad announcing the dates you’d be there and hopefully you’d hook up with other people looking to game. I’m thinking quick dungeon delves type games.

I’ll set up the site using a free forum hosting site, but before I even begin doing that, I’d love to get the feel of the readers out there as too whether this would even be a *blip* in someone’s radar. (I don’t want to spend my time doing all that for nothing!)

So if you could please leave me comments here telling me if you travel for work, would consider playing D&D on the road, and would use such a site… Also, if you know someone who may be interested in this type of thing pass the word along… Thanks, and I look forward to your replies and comments!
