That was funny, and I use the same kind of storage for my minis.
I think I’ll make a movie of that too, sounds like fun. But, as the minis are in my sons room, that movie would be pretty scary, not to watch but to film, as you never know what will attack you, the pile of dead laundry on the floor or the dust-snakes under the bed ๐

“Look, the entire Underdark fits in a zip-loc bag.” My wife heard that over my shoulder and totally cracked up.
I use the exact same storage solution except I keep all the individual sets together each in their own bag and I store all of them in a big cardboard bankers box from Staples so I can carry them all around.
For minis I use plastic shoe and boot boxes from the Container Store labeled in a highly considered taxonomy that includes the following scientifically generated categories:
Heroes, Bad Humanoids, Good Humanoids, Demons, Monsters, Large Monsters, huge Monsters, Large bi-peds, Goblinoids, Orcs and Gnolls, Undead, and Reptiles.

Awesome ๐ We collect way too many minis for simple storage like yours (sometimes my partner is like a 7 year old with baseball cards. Only minis don’t even come with a 40 year old stick of gum for me to marvel at). You also almost made me want to use dungeon tiles…
Scratch that. I’m feeling crafty. I think it’s time for creative use of photoshop, glue, and leftover cardboard ๐

Nice. Had me chuckling. Like everyone, I’m pretty much the same. Although, my 4 drawers -are- labeled; “common races” (PCs), “savage races”, “fantasic creatures, animals and elementals” and “demons and undead”. Thinking of a reorganisation, however, as there are a lot more savage races and animals etc than anything else.

Orange boxes for my tiles, tupperware for my minis. When I played Warhammer 40k I called my army Tupperware Tau.

What’s the plus for those Shears of Solitude hanging on your wall?

I use those plastic trays (the exact same kind) for tiles and minis. It works out better for me than trying to methodically organize everything. -.-
