So I have some pretty cool news…

I’ve joined the development team (as a freelancer) of a new rpg that has been announced called Red Aegis.  The game is the brainchild of the James Bros. (Matt & Brian), names you’ll recognize from plenty 4e D&D WOTC products.  The game’s premise is what interested me about it, and one of the reason I agreed to join the team. Matt James has described Red Aegis as, “…an epic, millennia-spanning, strategic roleplaying game where you command successive generations of heroes from the setting’s ancient past to the far future –from axe-wielding barbarians to spell hurling wizards and space marines packing gravity hammers, and everything in between.”

That just sounds pretty cool.

But that’s just one part of it… take a look at some of the names associated with this…

  • The James Bros.
  • Stephen Radney-MacFarland (D&D, Pathfinder developer)
  • Ed Greenwood (Forgotten Realms)
  • Mike Schley (cartographer for D&D and other products)
  • Claudio Pozas (artist)
  • Erik Scott de Bie (author, D&D writer)
  • …and many others

I’m really excited to be a member of the team, and the Kickstarter for the project has just launched.

I’d love to see this get funded and get the opportunity to work on this project.   Go check out the Kickstarter and if it’s something that piques your interest, please consider dropping a few bucks to support it.

Here is an interview with Brian James regarding Red Aegis.
