I’ve heard that he played D&D so many times but I’ve never heard any proof to tell my friends/gaming mates. Thanks for sharing.
20 years! Wow. No wonder why is it so hard for him to not talk about Melkor.
Bringing up D&D in a talk show like this is starting to show that RPGs are slowly making its way into the mainstream.

I’ve got that book he wrote the forward to.
That was a fantastic interview. He didn’t make the hobby look bad at all. And he was so excited to talk about his character!

I love how it’s like he’s coming out of the D&D closet. Give it a couple years, and we’ll have D&D pride parades. Woo!

Hmm, apparently Melkor is another name for Morgoth (Sauron’s boss) in LoTR. Pretty sweet. Though I’ve never seen anyone playing a half-drow, I think the race will become more popular as a result of Mr. Diesel.

Steven Colbert has talked about playing D&D plenty. A quick google will show anybody that easy. It is even on YouTube!
